I tried to google how many words were on the world wide web and I might as well have asked the location of the holy grail. There are mathematical equations trying to determine how many pages there are on the internet but that doesn’t tell us anything about how many words there are because there seems to be no established average of words/page. At least not that I could find.There is an interesting article in the Washington Post if you like a comparison to the estimated weight of all the www pages printed out in relation to the weight of a whale. The article was written in 2015, reporting there were 3 billion people online and saying that by 2016, that number could surpass a zettabyte. Don’t feel embarrassed. I had to look that up, too. All this to say, there is a lot of competition out there trying to do what you’re trying to do. Dare you try to do that without a digital strategy?
